If you are going to the marathon trainings, then you should be very proud of yourself. It’s like when you get a new car. You probably look at it and say, “Man, I can’t believe I paid so much for that thing!”
But this analogy doesn’t hold up, because we’re talking about your new car. Even if you had that car, you probably wouldn’t be so happy with the way it looks and drives.
It takes years of hard work to make a brand new car look good. And it takes years of hard work to drive that car. And all these years of hard work adds up to thousands of dollars.
So don’t think that just because you are now running marathons that your car is going to magically look good. That doesn’t happen.
Importance Of Marathon Trainings
It doesn’t matter how many times you’ve run in marathon training before. In fact, the more times you’ve run marathons, the worse the quality of your running shoes becomes. You can see this happening.
People who have weak ankles and weak feet usually suffer from foot problems, poor posture, and strong major foot problems. Strong ankles, poor posture, and a strong foot problem often lead to running injuries. If you’re running doesn’t sound right, then it probably is.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s not my intention to scare you, but I do want to point out that there are special marathon training shoes that should be used. These shoes should be specially designed and constructed for marathon runners.
I’ve been a marathon runner for over twenty-five years. During that time, I’ve tried out hundreds of types of training shoes. This includes running shoes, tennis shoes, mountain shoes, hiking shoes, and ultra-light sneakers.
I have a list of different people I know who run marathons. I also have lists of people who run half-marathons. Here are some of the recommendations that I have for those who want to improve their running performance:
As you can see, in the early stages of your training, you don’t have to spend hundreds of dollars on your running shoes. There are a lot of ways to make your shoes last longer.
While you are running marathon training, I strongly recommend that you wear protective headgear as well. The reason I recommend this is that running headgear will protect your ears from getting ripped off by the shock wave produced during a running event.
And the best thing about special training shoes is that they come with all kinds of special features. These features make your shoe last a lot longer. They also make the shoe very comfortable.
